Clark Fork Log Home – Before
- This Clark Fork log home suffered from mildew damage, log rot, and water-damaged wood. Through North Idaho Log Home Restoration’s multi-step process, we were able to breathe new life into this beautiful structure. Aside from sandblasting and staining, we treated the logs with borate to prevent future damage. Additionally, we removed areas of rotten logs and replaced them with healthy and structurally sound ones.
Clark Fork Log Home – After
We transformed this log cabin in Clark Fork, Idaho. Although the log home had suffered mildew damage, water damage, and rotten logs, we were able to return it to its previous health and beauty. Because there were large checks in multiple logs, we also added chink to the gaps, as needed. This process helps keep water out, as well as unwanted bugs and bats!
Up in Bonner County, places like Clark Fork, Sandpoint, and Sagle face common log home ailments. This includes cracked logs due to the season changes.
