Borate Treatment

Borate is a professional grade insecticide and mildewcide that we apply to all of our log home restorations. We use Borate treatment to kill current and prevent future outbreaks of mold and bugs. We apply Borate treatment immediately after media blasting of the home when the pores of the wood have been opened up. If you apply borate over other surfaces such as old stain or varnish, the borate will not properly penetrate into the wood.
