Full Rathdrum log home restoration, completed in Idaho. This project included sandblasting, borate treatment, staining. We tranformed it from dark to beautifully natural!

Rathdrum Log Home –
Before
Prior to our restoration, this Rathdrum log home was extremely dark and weathered. We sandblasted the wood (see picture below!) to strip away the old stain and prepare its surface for a fresh coat of stain. These Rathdrum log home owners opted for a lighter, more natural stain, and the results were beautiful! As with the majority of our projects, we also used borate treatment on the wood to protect from bugs and UV damage.
Rathdrum Log Home -After
Following our restoration of this Rathdrum log home, this log home looked like an entirely different property! Sandblasting stripped away the old dark and weathered stain, and we used this bright, natural stain from Sashco to replace it. Our restoration brought new life to this home–and we can do the same for you!
